THE RALEIGH-DURHAM Radio Control
Club (RDRC) held its annual Fly for Tots
event in September 2010. The event again
raised more than $27,500 for the Victory
Junction Gang. The Victory Junction Gang
was started by several NASCAR drivers in
2004 to help children with special needs go to
summer camp.
District IV Report - 2003/08
The Frederick (Maryland) Model Aircraft
Club (FMAC) held its annual fun-fly
September 22, 2002. Originally scheduled for
September 15, the events were canceled
because of rain.
AMA News District IV - 2009/02
THE RALEIGH-DURHAM Radio Control
Club (RDCRC) of Raleigh, North Carolina,
held its annual Fly For Tots event this past
September 20-21, 2008. In 2007 the club
netted more than $17,000 and Larry Lewis,
the club’s president, set a goal of $20,000
for 2008. RDCRC not only met the goal, but
surpassed it by raising more than $27,500!
This will be a special challenge for 2009.

batteries are great, but they need to be
handled according to their instructions.
