Radio Control, Inc., sent in the following
report about the club’s Electric fun-fly at
Fentress NALF (Naval Auxiliary Landing
Field) in Chesapeake, Virginia.
AMA News-District IV - 2009/01
THE CATAWBA VALLEY R/C’ers had
its annual fun-fly with plenty of food, fun,
and flying. The weather was just right with
little wind.
District IV Report - 2003/06
THE VALLEY R.C. Flying Club held its
annual Ray Gordon Memorial Jumbo Fly-in
June 21-23, 2002 at the club’s Harrisonburg,
Virginia field. Pilots from many clubs across
the state attended the event.

Gold has represented greatness
throughout history and today is no
exception. It is an accomplishment
for any club to become an AMA Gold
Leader Club. To receive this honor for
five, 10, or more years in a row is an
outstanding achievement.
This year, the Central Carolina R/C
Modelers club of High Point, North
Carolina, received its 10-year Gold
Leader Club honors—one of only 10
clubs across the country to receive this
honor. Congratulations to CCRC.
