THE DARE COUNTY RC Flyers in North
Carolina participated in the Youth Aviation
Day program at the Dare County Regional
Airport, September 25, 2004. The airport
manager had requested the club’s support.
The club had a static display in one of
the buildings with a number of members’
models and aeromodeling videos. Many of
the Dare County Flyers put on flying
demonstrations outside. Thanks to club
secretary Dewey Mann for the picture and
the information.
District IV - 2006/07
VINCE TABACCO of the Fauquier Aero
Recreation Modelers (FARM) club sent in the
following report and pictures about the club’s
Charity Float Fly held last October.
AMA News District IV - 2007/05
APPLE CORPS Flying Club, Inc. held a
fly-in to welcome a member back after an
accident. Approximately 25-30 modelers
attended and a number of them received
prizes donated by local businesses and
associated hobby merchandisers.

WALT MOUCHA JR. shared his latest
project: the Fly Baby. The 1/2-scale model
has a 14-foot wingspan and is powered by a
3W140 engine. The aircraft has a 106-inch
fuselage and he controls it with a Futaba 2.4
GHz radio system.

THE TRIAD AERO MODELERS held its
annual swap meet at the fairgrounds in
Lexington, North Carolina, this past spring.
