District IV Report - 2003/09
THE CHARLOTTE ACROMODELERS
held their Fall Family Day, November 18,
2002 at the club field. They had a Cub Scout
group out for a free lunch, flight
demonstrations, and instruction.
Approximately 15 Cub Scouts participated
in the flying.

FISH FRY & FLY: The Sussex
Aeromodelers Club (SAC), in Delaware,
held its second annual Fish Fry & Fly on
September 28, 2008. Pilots, family, and
friends from neighboring clubs in Delaware
and Maryland joined us for some great
eating and flying.
District IV - 2006/11
ON SUNDAY, March 5, 2006, another big
indoor flying event was held at the National
Building Museum in Washington, D.C. from
11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
District IV - 2008/07
THE AMA Radio Active Airshows team
flies most Friday nights in a gym when
available. These events fill in during the
winter off season and keep the members in
tune. This helps promote indoor and parktype
flying. I’m told they sometims fly until
3 a.m. Saturday mornings
