District IV - 2006/04

BOB HARRIS reported on the second annual
Mid-South Vintage RC Society (VRCS) Flyin
May 21-22, 2005, which was a huge
success. The weather was in the mid-70s with
a beautiful blue sky and sunshine. We had 32
pilots and nearly 100 aircraft either on display
or being flown.

District IV-2011/07

THE DCRC CLUB held the District IV
International Miniature Aircraft Association
(IMAA) Big Bird event September 9-12,
2010, at the Flying Circus Aerodrome in
Bealeton, Virginia. Andy Kane CDed the
occasion, supported by many members of
the club. As usual, there were many
airplanes and plenty of flying for the
several-day event

District IV Report - 2009/11

IN MAY, members of the Radio Active
Airshows team traveled to Maryland to
perform at the NAS Patuxent River Air
Expo 09. The show included the U.S. Navy
Ceremonial Guard; the Air Force’s Air
Combat Command’s Viper East F-16
Demonstration Team; the U.S. Army’s
Parachute Team, the Golden Knights;
veteran aerobatics performer Patty
Wagstaff; Tim Weber in his GEICO Extra
300; the Aerostars; and the Red Eagles Air
Sports to name a few.

District IV - 2006/03

I REGRET to report that Associate Vice
President John Stare of Middleton, Deleware,
is resigning after roughly eight years of
excellent service to the hobby/sport and
AMA. Many thanks John, for all your hard
work and efforts. When you see him, thank
him and give a well-deserved pat on the back.
