District IV Report - 2003/04
KEN HOWARD JR., contest coordinator
for the Colonial Virginia Aeromodelers
(CVA), sent in the following story:
District IV - 2006/01
THE RALLY OF GIANTS returned to
Danville, Virginia, for its 25th anniversary
after a long absence. The event was arranged
by Jeff Phillips and the Flights Unlimited
Show Team. There were displays and
vendors of all kinds, including the necessary
food vendors.
District IV Report - 2009/09
THE JOE NALL 2009 was another recordbreaking
event. There were more than 800
registered pilots flying at four different sites.
There was the regular flightline as always,
then the 3-D area, the lake flying, and a
helicopter area. This keeps the various
interests separated and flying more
frequently.

THE 2008 CULPEPER AIR FEST:
Reaction to the model aviation part of the
2008 Culpeper Air Fest by the Airport
Committee was excellent. The only negative
comments about the model show were from
the people who came later and missed it.
