AMA News: District IV-2007/02
THE MID-SOUTH Fly-in 2006 was a great
success! The weather was in the mid 70s,
little wind, and a flying field manicured so
well that even the 1/2A models could be
ROG! We had participants from Florida,
Tennessee, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia,
and West Virginia.

THE FESTIVAL OF FLIGHT 2003 in
Fayetteville, North Carolina, is now
history but what an event it was!
District IV - 2009/07
ON SUNDAY, February 1, 2009, John
Robinson showed up at the field with the
Wings Across America (WAA) model. We
had anticipated that John would get the
model at some point, but were unsure just
exactly when.
District IV Report - 2003/03
THE NEWPORT NEWS Park R.C. club
held its Founder’s Day event September 15,
2002, postponed from May because of
weather. The Newport News Parks and
Recreation Commission provide this facility
to the club.
District IV Report - 2004/12
THE MINI-DOME in Johnson City,
Tennessee, was the site again for the Indoor
Nats. I attended two days with my good
friend, Cliff Cullpepper. Cliff was a world
of information, which made the event more
interesting to a first-timer.
