District IV Report - 2005/05
THE WINSTON-SALEM RC Club held its
annual swap meet at the Dixie Classic
Fairgrounds November 13, 2004. As you can
see by the pictures, there was much wheeling
and dealing and apparently there were many
successful buyers and sellers.
District IV-2011/09
NATIONAL BUILDING Museum Flying:
The FF club D.C. Maxecuters hosted indoor
flying at the National Building Museum on
March 6, 2011. Flying in this historic
building in the heart of Washington, D.C. is
a perfect site to introduce the general public
to the gentle magic of indoor flying.
District IV Report - 2008/05
RC COMBAT is alive and well in the Mid
Atlantic region. The Mid Atlantic Radio
Kontrol Society (MARKS) club, located in
Salisbury, Maryland, hosted two Slow
Survivable Combat (SSC) events. Thirteen
pilots flew in the September 2007 event and
11 in the October meet.

THE BURLINGTON Area Radio Control
Society held its annual swap meet at the
Fairchild Center earlier this year. As you can
see, there was plenty to buy and look at.

The Macon Aero Modelers Club of
Franklin, North Carolina, found a way
to have fun and benefit CareNet, which
is a charity group that helps feed the
hungry. Bob Wilson, a member of the
club, wrote to me about the event.
